CALLING ALL SCIENTISTS!
SFB is soliciting art submissions that will illustrate future covers of the Biomaterials Forum. We are looking for images that demonstrate unique artistic vision and creativity with a theme that relates to biomaterials.
If interested, please submit a high quality color photograph or scan of the artwork or image. Please do not submit original artwork.
Deadline: Accepted on a rolling basis.
Selection Process: Submissions with identifiers removed will be reviewed by the Biomaterials Forum Executive Editor. The artwork selected will be printed on the front cover of the Biomaterials Forum and a summary of the subject of the artwork and biomaterials relevance as well as the submitter’s name and affiliation will be printed in the corresponding Biomaterials Forum issue.
Multiple Submissions: Individuals may submit more than one piece at a time. Previously published work cannot be accepted.
Format: Please submit an electronic version of the artwork in high resolution as a .jpeg, .jpg, or .png file.
Instructions: Please send submissions electronically as file attachments to SFB Headquarters at info@biomaterials.org.
Please include: The title of the image, the submitter’s name, email address, telephone number, affiliation, and a less than 25 word description of the image.
Note: Editorial contributions to Biomaterials Forum are always welcome. Contributions should be sent to the Executive Editor and are subject to the terms and conditions of the Editorial and Publication Release. Authors should refer to the Author Guidelines, which are available on the Society’s website, when writing submissions.
